Director and producer Mike Judge posted on his Twitter the first sketches of a grown-up Beavis and Butt-Head – the characters from the 1993 animated series of the same name. A full-length animated sequel is planned for 2022. There’s no exact release date yet, but the project will be a Paramount+ exclusive. Besides the movie, the creator promised “much more.”
The American animated series “Beavis and Butt-Head” ran from 1993 to 1997. A reboot happened in 2011, and even then Mike Judge considered making the characters adults, but the idea was abandoned – instead they changed the vibe and plunged the old heroes into the modern world.
And who are these people, anyway?
