Jake Paul said that his brother sued Floyd Mayweather for not paying the purse for their fight, the BJPenn outlet cites the blogger.
“He really didn’t pay Logan. There’s a lawsuit that was filed last week or two weeks ago,” Jake said at a press conference in London.
Mayweather himself has not commented on the situation.
The guaranteed payday for the 44-year-old athlete was $10 million. In addition, he was supposed to receive 50% of pay-per-view sales.
Paul, in turn, was supposed to earn $250k and 10% of pay-per-view revenue.
The fight between Mayweather and Paul took place in June 2021. The rules provided for 8 rounds of 3 minutes. The bout ended in a draw.
Well, only a court can decide in their case, that’s the only way. After all, there’s big money involved in this.
