Book of 99 Relax Gaming slot review with free demo

Book of 99, what are you? Seems like a relax game, but it doesn’t feel like one at all. Honestly, I’m not a fan of “book” slots, but this one caught my interest with its gimmick. First off, RTP 99% – not made up, it’s real. I spun for a couple of hours, and the slot consistently paid out, not turning the session into draining your deposit in five minutes. Graphics are so-so – plain pixel symbols in some kind of Greek style, no fancy animation. But the mechanics are simple: the book is both scatter and wild. Free spins are given often, but they hand out few, so you have a chance to pick up small wins frequently. A couple of times the bonus rounds gave 600x and 900x, but on average I didn’t get above x50. Another really cool feature is the guaranteed bonus game every 100 scatters! Downsides: a bit boring. No wow effect, everything’s predictable: you spin, win small, sometimes hit a bonus, but no explosive payouts. On the bright side, you won’t go broke. Bottom line: if you want to calmly spend time without stress and not burn your balance, this is for you, but it’s very boring. Also good for safely clearing wagers.

7/10, because it’s honest (main thing is that the casino is honest too)

Book of 99 – seems like a standard book slot but actually isn’t!

To start with, the RTP here is really 99%, which I think is the highest RTP in slots overall – and in Relax even more so.

There’s also an accumulation feature where two scatters land in a strip and if you collect 99 of them a guaranteed bonus will start! That’s very nice and actually getting those 99 isn’t that big of a problem.

I really love to spin this slot when there’s bonus balance – because then you can cash the bonus out to real (but be careful some casinos ban that!)

The bonuses hit inconsistently – sometimes very often, sometimes very rarely. The bonus is the standard book one where symbols expand! Payouts are standard too..

Hitting five symbols in the bonus even with low-paying ones is actually very hard, no matter how many bonuses I’ve watched – I’ve seen five symbols very rarely and they were some tens! By the way the slot loves to give cheap symbols and it’s super hard to see the top symbol.

Without the features the books are weak.. but since there’s a guaranteed bonus it’s not bad at all.

One of my favorite slots in the “book” category is definitely Book of 99. I’ve been playing it for a long time, and I come back to it periodically. The slot pleases not only with its ancient atmosphere but also with a really high RTP – 99%. You can feel that: compared to other slots, the balance holds up longer here. I mostly play at medium bets, from 50 to 100 rubles (sometimes 150); in that range the slot lets you play without a severe drawdown. The bonus game is triggered either by 3 books or when you collect 99 of them in the base game – that’s unique. In the bonus it’s always interesting which symbol will appear – if something top-tier shows up, you can catch a nice hit. I personally hit a max of x340, but I believe you can get more. The graphics are pleasant, everything is crisp and not overloaded. The sound isn’t annoying. A downside is there’s no option to buy the bonus, but on the other hand you can calmly reach it in the regular game. I usually collect 99 books in 250-300 spins, if I’m lucky it happens faster. Definitely recommend trying it. For fans of book slots – this is a must-play. I give it a solid 8 out of 10

And here we have another “book” slot. Relax Gaming struck again and tried to make something unusual out of ordinary books.
We’re greeted by quite a statement… this slot has an RTP of 99%! o_O I was also very surprised by such “generosity” of the slot. Usually they have 94-96% everywhere… and here it’s as high as 99. But in reality, it turned out to be just a loud claim. That RTP is achieved only because there’s an accumulative bonus that is collected very easily.
The slot itself is themed around myths of ancient Greece. With gods and various creatures. The sounds and artwork aren’t top-notch. Pleasant, but nothing more.
Inside, however, it’s a regular book slot. With one addition… there’s an accumulative bonus. And it is collected very simply. Each book that lands gives +1 to the accumulation. Even a bonus of three books, when it finishes, will add those three books to the collection. You need to collect, strangely enough, 99 of them. Then a bonus will trigger with a specific stake equal to the average of the bets that contributed those 99 books.
Collecting this bonus isn’t that hard, but getting a big win from it isn’t easy either. I collected it many times and got a bonus with some symbol like a ten or a queen. Which gave at best x20-x30.
Overall there’s not much more to say. Book lovers and fans of accumulative bonuses – welcome. But winning a lot here is difficult. Keep that in mind.
