Crystal Quest Frostlands is basically a Megaways slot you could say, where there are no lines and the symbols just need to fall from left to right!
There is a bonus and it drops pretty often – in the bonus the multiplier grows with each match and the winning symbols explode and new ones fall from above (BTG used to make slots like that)
Also a huge symbol can fall in the bonus – but it often doesn’t pay because it doesn’t get placed at the start! There are retriggers too but very rarely – rarer than usual in Thunderkick slots, but that’s understandable here, the multiplier does grow!
Outside the bonus there’s also some freeze feature but I didn’t really get what it does! Looks like it kind of guarantees a match.
You need 3 scatters for the bonus like I said, it drops often but sometimes you get a session with no bonuses and if you land in one of those sessions it’s better to run from the slot!
Pays on the paylines are rare and weak – the multiplier compensates in the bonus but during base play it really shows and the slot doesn’t hold balance at all.
Overall a not-bad little slot – but definitely not my favorite and it won’t become one! And I haven’t seen any epic wins in it.
