I decided to say a few words about the Fire Toad slot from PNG. The slot is more or less popular, although people don’t play it very often. I don’t play it that often myself either.
The slot is set in a fairy-tale forest with different frogs) Some idea of frogs evolving from tadpoles to a super fiery specimen)
So we have 1024 paylines – it pays left to right. Frog symbols come in stacks, which increases the chances of wins.
There are scatter symbols – huge butterflies.
If two of them land the frog upgrade feature activates. One of the frog levels is chosen at random and all frogs on the board that are below that level are upgraded to that level. Actually, if you’re lucky you can catch a lot of lines even in a normal spin. But, as usual, this happens very rarely) Most often these upgrades do nothing or pay pennies.
To get into the bonus you need to hit at least three butterflies. You get 9 spins. In the bonus the lowest-level frog immediately gets a +1 level upgrade. To upgrade the minimum frog level you need to hit 3 more scatters. They will also give 3 more spins.
It all sounds quite interesting. In practice… it’s very rare for three butterflies to land in the bonus. I’ve seen many times how the 9 spins received gave literally nothing.
In conclusion I can recommend this slot for a pleasant play. Don’t expect big wins. They are pretty rare here.
Fire Toad is an excellent slot with different levels! I love slots (especially from Play’n GO) where you have to go through levels and then the frogs will evolve and increase payouts!
The bonus triggers often – but there are no progressions; if you don’t get further then most likely you’ll get pennies for the bonus.
I’ve seen a huge number of bonuses – mostly it’s x30-x40, sometimes it’s even x0 and very rarely it pays anything! The biggest I caught was x520 – but I made it to the end and it paid out patches of top frogs!
Payouts are small, but the higher the frog the more you feel the payouts. You should keep in mind that it pays properly when it pays in MEADOWS, otherwise the payouts are weak and even if there’s a line of symbols it won’t be good.
The slot overall has great mechanics, it’s very interesting to watch the bonus each time especially with retriggers and progressions! It can also randomly put a bunch of frogs in a spin and pay quite well.
I like this kind of slot design – so I hop in and can easily spin 200 or 300 spins in the slot without much stress.
