When this slot first came out I was really surprised. Could a provider actually know and love our folklore so much that they made a whole slot based on one of the tales? I spent a ton of hours in it.
The slot doesn’t give big hits. To catch something really huge you need to spend loads of hours and hit something truly top-tier, most likely only at the end of the bonus that’s possible.
In regular spins, when 1 or 2 chest scatters land there’s a chance Baba Yaga will fly in and help you either get more chests or give a payout. She throws 4 toads onto 4 adjacent symbols. Those flip, revealing either identical symbols or maybe 1-2 chests that grant access to the bonus.
The bonus has different levels (kind of a reference to the tale where Koschei’s death was in a duck, the duck in a hare, etc.). Each level has a multiplier that applies to all wins.
The more scatters we caught before the bonus, the cooler the bonus we get at the start (more spins and a higher starting level).
In the bonus we need to collect Koschei tokens to level up the bonus. Moving up a level gives 4 spins and increases the multiplier for subsequent matches. On the very last level the multiplier is already x20. I reached it several times. But I didn’t catch many matches there.

There are two ways to catch the bonus spins: the first is to hit at least three chests with the word “BONUS”, and the second way is when Baba-Yaga flies in on her mortar and scatters frogs; they act as substitute symbols and can turn symbols into scatters. For some reason I mostly get the bonus thanks to her. Also in the bonus Baba-Yaga can appear and do the same actions. The bonus consists of catching gold coins with a skull and progressing further in the bonus; with each advancement the payout multiplier grows, the maximum value is x20.
