Jolly Roger 2 is really, as already said, a buffed-up version of the first part and honestly the changes here are minimal!
If you liked the first part then I’m almost sure the second will click too because it’s the same thing just turned sideways, but they did a pretty good job of boosting the slot’s potential and now hitting x1000-x2000 is real and not something impossible.
I spun the slot quite a lot – saw different features and payouts… by the way about the payouts they’re still not huge but it seemed to me they’re a bit better and more frequent than in the first part.
I hit x480 – didn’t hit higher unfortunately, but I won’t say I ground the slot to death! I log in almost every day but only for about 50-100 spins and no more, and I quit even if it lands bonuses and features, and if it doesn’t I can leave even sooner!
If you want to grind the wager and see features more often – the first part is still better for that role, but if you want the chance to win bigger then it’s better to go with Jolly Roger 2.

I can’t rate it above average, since the slot is just mediocre.
I only liked the new improved version of the Jolly Roger slot for its design and sound. Otherwise both the mechanics and the volatility – which unlike the first version isn’t adjusted by changing lines – didn’t click with me. Although it hits bonuses often, the pick usually gives a guaranteed win, and that’s most often x10 of the bet. Even though the provider shows a 96.2% return to player, I noticed those numbers are much lower at casinos, usually around 92%. In all my time playing the slot I’ve never even hit x100 – usually it’s up to x50 and that’s with the best bonus. I spun this slot even with big bets, but never saw any real payout. I monitored its payout over the long run for a while and used an active bonus, the result was negative – the machine is very bad at holding your balance. Apparently all slots with the same name play like this. My experience tells me you should play this game for no more than 50-100 spins to vary your casino session, and in most cases if you haven’t hit a bonus within 30 spins it’s better to quit.
