Pyramid King Pragmatic Play slot review with free demo

Good day everyone!!! I’ll write a review of a little-known slot from the popular provider Pragmatic Play 😎 Pyramid King. This slot is low-volatility and it’s really hard to win anything big in it, the advertised max win in the slot is X2500, but I think it’s basically impossible to catch 🤷‍♂️. The slot has bonus rounds with a jackpot feature 🙄 you need to fill all 15 cells and it will (sort of) come🤣, I tried to fill them probably like 100 times🤣 and the biggest I ever got was 9 cells.. Overall the slot is made very nicely, bright graphics and pleasant music 🤔 but you won’t see good wins in it! The biggest I managed to catch in Pyramid King was X250 🤣 what max win are we even talking about 😏 and on average its bonus rounds are around X50 so don’t count on more. Conclusion on the slot: Pyramid King is just useless 😏 purely for variety to pop in and have a look… And if you think you’ll win something worthwhile, this is definitely not the place!

The Pyramid King slot from Pragmatic Play is a kind of journey to Ancient Egypt, just like in the old Indiana Jones movies, only instead of a whip there are reels and paylines. Visually the game is pretty decent, the graphics are bright, the symbols are recognizable: pharaohs, ankhs, cobras. Everything as it should be. The soundtrack also creates the right mood, although personally after a while it gets a bit annoying – turn the sound off and the problem is solved.

The gameplay is fairly standard, like most other slots. There are bonus rounds with free spins and the possibility to win big sums, but I just didn’t get lucky. I seemed to spin enough and try different bets, but I never quite managed to reach the pyramid. Well, maybe next time, but I don’t think so.

To be honest, a slot is a slot. Nothing outstanding, no real standout feature. For fans of Egyptian themes it’s a fine option to relax and spin the reels.
Overall, the game leaves a neutral impression. You can play it, but it’s not worth chasing after. The odds, as everywhere, are 50/50 – either you get lucky or you don’t. My rating is 5 out of 10.

Pyramid King is probably one of the least popular Pragmatic Play slots, even despite the interesting voiceover and colorful design. The slot has a feature where certain jackpot denominations are given, but in my time playing I never hit any of them, and collecting all 15 symbols for the Grand jackpot seems completely unrealistic. At the same time a max payout of x2500 is advertised, although the biggest jackpot is only x1000, and hitting a big win in the free spins is basically impossible. All those symbols for the feature interfere with the payline symbols, and even playing with the active bonus I didn’t see anything over x200 of the bet for a long time; moreover I noticed severe balance drops over long runs, so I don’t recommend using the slot to clear a wager. All the free rounds I hit in this slot gave no more than x50, and it was usually the feature itself that saved me. There’s a real problem with the return to player here – 96.5% is advertised, but in casino descriptions the actual figure everywhere doesn’t even exceed 94%.

Pyramid King – a pretty decent old Pragmatic! It has both jackpot features and free spins, so you definitely won’t be bored playing the slot.

The jackpot features are standard: hit six money symbols and you get respins where ONLY money symbols drop, and if you fill all 15 cells you get the GRAND jackpot, which btw isn’t that big – only x1000 of the bet!

Free spins are a bit more interesting – basically a book mechanic where they give a special symbol and if it lands the symbol opens, but I’ll say right away that payouts here are much smaller and less frequent! So don’t count on a huge win.

Overall the slot is low-volatility – usually gives small wins but often, that’s how old Pragmatic games always were! I hit x300 in free spins and a MAJOR in the bonus with the jackpots, but I’ve never seen the grand!

Now in 2025 these kinds of slots have lost relevance – there are more slots with higher multipliers now and the potential in new releases is of course many times higher than in these old slots. The design btw I don’t like at all, or rather it’s just not relevant anymore.
