Royal Mint Megaways by Big Time Gaming has six reels and up to 117649 ways to win. The minimum bet is 20 rubles. The game uses the Megaways mechanic. There is a feature to collect forty gold bars. After they are collected the enhanced bonus round is activated.

Bonus spins are triggered by landing MINT symbols. You get 12 spins for that. Each win increases the multiplier by one. After collecting all forty bars you need to trigger the feature again to get the enhanced version of the bonus. In that case the INT combination is used, since the letter M is kept in advance.

During play there were five regular bonuses and one enhanced. The best result was 93 bets. The average of the regular bonuses was 39 bets. The minimum result, 4x. The biggest win in the base game, 60x.

It took 2,453 spins to complete the collection of forty bars. The average interval between bonus features was 409 spins. The maximum gap, 875 spins. The slot has a high level of volatility.

One of the BTG slots I’ve spent many hours on, but I don’t consider it anything spectacular.
Here we have the Royal Mint Megaways slot. It’s done in the style of some royal treasury. Gems and gold everywhere. The slot has gorgeous sound. But the visuals disappointed me a bit. They’re fine overall, but don’t evoke any wow feelings.
This is one of the few BTG slots with an accumulating bonus. There are two columns for collecting gold bars at the sides of the reels. You get one bar for three scatters. That’s already a downside. Too many scatters needed for one bar. It’s hard to collect.
Although sometimes you can hit a wave of falling scatters and collect those bars one after another.
This isn’t a completely usual Megaways slot, since extra symbols fly onto the reels from both the top and the bottom. But the maximum is, as everywhere, 117,649 ways.
To hit the regular bonus you need to collect 4 scatters – the letters M I N T. Any extra scatters will give +4 spins.
There’s nothing new in the bonus. Each play increases the multiplier by 1. And so on to infinity. Three stacks of gold bars above and below will give +4 spins (in my experience they drop veeeeeery rarely. Don’t count on them).
The slot’s plus is exactly the accumulating bonus. Once you collect all the gold bars on the sides you lock in the letter M for yourself, and then you only need to collect three scatters to get the bonus.
But the bonus will no longer be simple, it will be upgraded. The upgrade is that the bonus will start with a x2 multiplier and increase by +2 with each play. A very decent boost.
However, in practice I can say that collecting this bonus takes a very long time and is difficult. And even if you get it, nothing is guaranteed. Many times I hit it and got 1-2 plays out of the full 12 spins. So you spend a lot of money and nerves to collect that bonus and end up with nothing.
That’s why I rate this slot rather low. But… if you’re lucky enough to collect that bonus and get a lot of plays there, you can cash out a decent amount. I managed that a couple of times. But most often it doesn’t happen.

The slot can be recommended to fans of accumulating bonuses. But be ready for disappointment. It could be lurking just around the corner.
