In October TV presenter Ksenia Sobchak and journalist and human rights activist Ekaterina Gordon announced plans to run in the Russian presidential election to be held in March 2018. The bookmaker Liga Stavok offered its clients to bet on how many women will be nominated as candidates for the country’s top post.
TV presenter, editor-in-chief of LʼOfficiel Russia Ksenia Sobchak on October 18 announced her intention to run as a candidate in the Russian presidential election. And on October 29 radio host Ekaterina Gordon spoke about her decision to take part in the presidential race.
Then TV presenter Anfisa Chekhova wrote on her Instagram account that the Party of Good Deeds had suggested she be nominated in the election, and that she is ready to run if her post gets 200,000 likes.
Bookmaker Liga Stavok assessed the probability that at most one woman will take part in the presidential election at odds of 1.6 (58% probability). You can bet on Over 1.5 at 2.2 (42%).
You can bet that at most two women will compete for the presidency with odds of 1.13 (82%). The probability that there will be more than two female candidates (so-called Over 2.5) is priced at 5.0 (18%).
“Sobchak is very likely to be registered as a candidate. As for other representatives of the fairer sex, our ‘potential’ list includes Gordon Katya, Irina Prokhorova, Alina Vitukhnovskaya, Olga Dmitrieva and others. However we seriously doubt that there will be more than two contenders for this difficult job,” – commented the odds Maxim Afanasyev, deputy CEO for trading at Liga Stavok.
Prior to this Liga Stavok assessed the probability that Ksenia Sobchak would take part in the presidential race, and also offered bets on whether Anfisa Chekhova would run for president of the Russian Federation.
Sobchak, very funny, clowns are needed in this race, at least to have a laugh..
Too bad Volochkova isn’t here… She would be the most “flexible” candidate for president 😎
She has such an image that it’s basically unclear who would vote for her, personally I don’t get it, she’s a really confusing candidate.
