Annihilator… hmm, the name itself makes you imagine something explosive. Honestly, I’m not really into metal, but I decided to check out this slot. Visually – yeah, rather gloomy, as it should be, probably, for this theme. Skulls, chains, all that paraphernalia. The graphics are basically pretty good, everything’s drawn clearly.
As for the gameplay, it’s pretty standard for slots. The reels spin, symbols land. There are wilds, scatters that trigger bonus games. The bonus games seemed the most interesting to me. There’s something like “pick an item and get a prize,” and another game where you have to shoot targets. That at least adds some variety.
Winnings… well, it’s a matter of luck. Sometimes I did win decently, especially in the bonus rounds. But most of the time just small wins to keep the game going. Overall, the slot seems fairly volatile to me, meaning it can go a long time without giving anything and then suddenly hit.
Music… well, if you’re an Annihilator fan, you’ll probably like it. But if metal isn’t your thing, it’s better to turn the sound off right away. Otherwise your head will hurt.
So, the slot is for a certain kind of person, let’s say. If you’re a fan of the band Annihilator or just like dark and atmospheric themes, you might enjoy it. But if you prefer something brighter and more cheerful, it’s better to look for something else. The main thing is to remember that it’s just a game))
Annihilator is a very tough slot to win on, maybe all branded games from this provider are like that. At the same time it has awesome design and high-quality sound. It’s worth noting that the claimed high volatility of the slot is quite justified – over the long run I noticed that payouts in the slot are rare and very small, and the maximum payout of x5000 doesn’t give much incentive to play actively. I also noticed that in most casinos the return-to-player is significantly lower than what the provider states; usually that figure is 94%, but you can even see 90%. Bonuses in the slot are very rare, and the wins in them are usually x20-x30; even for a full screen of high-paying symbols I once hit only x400, I don’t even understand how you could catch the maximum win here. I tried playing the machine with an active bonus and it gave negative results – over 2000 spins it didn’t even return the stated RTP. I even tried playing the slot by raising and lowering the stake; the payout was very bad. I can only advise entering the slot for no more than 50 spins just to check the bonus, but in practice even in that many spins it’s often very hard to catch it.
