Aztec treasure hunt – a multi-collector slot from Pragmatic.
There are many slots that have a coin-collector feature in normal spins or in the bonus, but Aztec Treasure Hunt is one of the few where the collector has a really big multiplier.
This collector can appear both in regular spins and in free spins, and it’s also a wild. The maximum collector x is x50.
Coins can also reach x50, and are collected if there is a collector symbol on the field.
In the bonus (starts with five coins) all coin values are collected into a chest and remain valid until the end of the bonus, collected by all collectors that land during the free spins.
My max x in the slot is x500 – I hit a coin x50 in a regular spin and a collector x10 (in the bonus it’s no more than x300). I haven’t seen huge wins in this slot, but since it pays x50, you could catch the max x5000.
Overall the slot doesn’t have a very interesting mechanic, but it’s worth a play – it hits bonuses fairly often and can maintain your balance thanks to the coins.
How I love mechanics like in the slot Aztec Treasure Hunt! Despite the fact that hitting anything is hard and the maxwin is totally unrealistic – the slot is still not bad at all.
In the slot the system is like PUB or other similar slots – namely that special money symbols drop and accumulate in chests, and when a WILD symbol drops those chest funds are collected! The best part is that the money in the chests doesn’t disappear and you can build up a nice sum – and the wild can be not just one but several, and they’ll all collect the money! The problem and downside of the slot is that even if there’s a chest with a very big amount, it might be useless because the wild won’t drop and the money just won’t be collected!
Alas, in these kinds of slots even x500 is already like a maxwin, and if you do hit it don’t expect to win a lot! But watching a couple of bonuses is quite interesting and you can bump your balance a bit.
I don’t recommend buying the bonus in this slot – the price is unreasonably high! Even if it pays off it’s max x2-x3 and that’s definitely not worth risking a big sum up front.
