At first I really didn’t like DJ Psycho from NoLimit. Just some totally weird thing. The only redeeming thing was the music – I turn it up when I play). But after a big hit in a free tournament my attitude toward the slot changed. Turns out it can pay out pretty well. I always play it with a boosted chance, even though it’s noticeably more expensive than a regular bet, to me it’s worth it. Without the chance it’s practically impossible to win anything. I almost never buy bonuses in Psycho, I don’t have luck with bought ones. The slot triggers bonuses quite often. A normal bonus never gave me much, but when it upgrades to the top one you can hit a nice win. My max is about x3000. Regular bonuses mostly give around x50, I never won more than x100 from a simple bonus. But it does trigger them not rarely. I haven’t had a huge run on this slot, it always gives you almost everything back to play through, the main thing is not to keep going after that – a bust is guaranteed. I still don’t get the slot’s mechanics. How the multipliers work there is unclear. But that doesn’t stop Psycho from having a solid spot in my slot top!
Hello everyone!!! Good day and good mood to all! I’ll share my experience playing the video slot Dj Psycho. Release date of this video slot was August 22, 2022. Maximum multiplier of your bet is x25,420 (usually with nolimit city the max wins are more or less round numbers without kopecks at the end). I started playing this video slot from the moment it was released, used to play it more often before but now very rarely, maybe a couple times a month. As soon as the slot came out I got pretty sunk into it, of course over time I recovered almost everything, but first impressions were not very good. The slot has four types of bonuses: the first ordinary one is x5.10 of your bet, the second is x77 of your bet and the third top one is x420 of your bet, there’s also a random one for x209 – it says there that the smallest drop percentage is the ordinary bonus, but in practice for me it’s not like that, a lot of random bonuses were bought and from that list the ordinary ones appeared most often. There’s also an extra button to buy the bonus game for x33.5 of the bet, people prefer to spin this slot with the button, I’ve gotten bonuses more than once and reached the top bonus. My maximum x in the slot isn’t very big, a little under x2,000 of the bet. So the slot is more or less playable.
The slot from NoLimit, DJ Psycho, is at the same time very interesting and very confusing and, in my opinion, gives out very little!
On one hand NoLimit again did something interesting and unusual – there aren’t even standard symbols here, and there are lots of bonuses and features! The sound design is just dreamy and the slot even has a story, which is also cool. On the other hand they made the slot way too confusing! You can kinda understand how the bonus falls – but how the symbols actually play and how a decent payout happens is unclear. Besides that there are way too many bright colors, and I wouldn’t recommend this to people with issues because you can actually trigger an attack! There are many bonuses but they’re all weak, and NoLimit likes to set big max wins, but here that’s a huge rarity which is surprising! I hit bonuses at x5 and x10 even though it seemed like it was putting in a lot of play, but the payouts were very weak… by the way I still see players who have been playing the slot for a long time but themselves can’t understand much, which is surprising) So overall the slot gives mixed feelings – it’s cool that it’s not usual, but they overcomplicated everything and there’s no point! You can’t even really play the bonus properly because it just eats your balance on the spot! And buying is expensive and pointless…
Are there better slots from the provider? – of course there are, and many of them. DJ Psycho, in my opinion, isn’t even in the provider’s top 10, but is it a complete failure? – definitely not! It’s definitely not a failed slot and something like this should exist for players who are tired of standard five-reel, ten-line slots – we can play that kind of classic on other providers, while here they offer something new and interesting.
I can’t say it hooked me enough to play it often, but I will pop in rarely – you never know, it might hit a max win, since it’s very big here, up to x25k, and just sitting and listening to the pleasant music doesn’t hurt sometimes)
