And not only did they roll out this slot, they made an entire series with this slot. Dragon Gold 88 is a simple but atmospheric classic-style slot: dragons, gold and traditional symbols like coins and hieroglyphs. I played it with small bets, and it left a pleasant impression. The main plus of this slot is its simplicity. No complicated bonus rounds or a bunch of special effects, everything is just like in the fishing games. Technical features: 5 reels, 10 pay lines. Volatility is medium – wins come often, but are mostly small. My biggest hit here was about 570x the bet. Instead of the fisherman there’s now Olga Buzova, scatters are dragons, and the fishes are coins. The bonus hits fairly often, plus if two scatters land, it can re-spin and give a third.

Dragon Gold 88 is an excellent option for those who are bored with fishing games. If you like Asian themes and classics – worth a try! Have a great mood and big payouts!

When Pragmatic ran out of ideas for normal fishing slots they decided to release one with the same mechanics but a different design.

In fact, it’s all the same. There are extra chances to hit the bonus with two scatters, there is the appearance of an additional option when the bonus starts, there is a maximum fish at x5000 (that’s the max).

The slot plays exactly like any other fishing game, turning on the extra chance to trigger the bonus is not mandatory, bonuses can appear every ~20 spins even without this feature. And there are sessions when the slot just eats your money.

Unfortunately I didn’t catch anything big here, didn’t even manage to reach the x10 fisherman. I didn’t see any big wins in screenshots either.

The only noticeable plus of this slot is the nice Asian-style design. If you like those kinds of slots, it will be a good replacement for Bio Bass Splash.

But I can’t recommend this slot to most players for regular play; it’s better to play the more popular versions – as practice shows they perform better.
