Aloha! Cluster Pays from NetEnt is a bright, colorful slot. It has vivid visuals, well-drawn symbols, nicely chosen music and good animation. The Aloha! Cluster Pays grid is 6×5, but there are no paylines since it uses cluster wins. A win requires nine identical symbols forming a cluster by touching vertically or horizontally. There’s a Wild, Free Spins, Sticky Win Re-spins and Symbol Drop. Three or more Scatter symbols trigger the bonus: three give 9 FS, four give 10, five give 11 and six give 12 FS. During the Free Spins simple symbols are removed, and when three, four, five or six scatters appear again you get an extra +1, +2, +3 or +4 FS. In the base game wins were up to x20, with a lot of dead spins. But when a winning spin hit, Sticky Win Re-spins activated. The winning cluster then becomes sticky. If the cluster grows during the re-spins, an additional Re-spins is triggered. I often hit the re-spins variant, max win was about x30. In the end I managed to nearly break even, and that’s already good). The slot showed itself pretty well, you could say I got aesthetic “pleasure” from the game. I’ll definitely drop by there again.
After a long “diet” from playing slots, I decided to try something exotic, so I dropped into the legendary “Aloha! Cluster Pays”. It used to pay out pretty “green”, even on long runs, and how it’ll be now – we’ll see).
I did a few runs of about 100-150 spins each, fiddled with flat social bets (10 cents), sessions were different, though the result was the same). A couple of visits to Aloha(I’d call them “A Bali excursion”) were similar: at first it kind of held the “bank“, there was time and money, so I agreed).
Like most players, if the normal game isn’t giving big wins, we all expect some luck from the “fat” FS. And if they don’t hit right away, why wouldn’t they show up a bit later)… But gradually the prospects got murkier, money “melted” – series of “blank” spins got more frequent, though small wins up to x6 still appeared. And gradually you reach the moment when you realize it’s time to “wrap it up”. Besides, those “postcards” dropping in pairs were getting pretty “annoying“. But a sly “voice” inside kept whispering, wait a little longer. And finally on the last run I managed to “catch” three “postcards” (for 9 free spins), and then in the bonus game another “four” came in (another 2 FS were added). The result was modest – for 11 FS the win was x70 and that was it.
The overall score for the three sessions was “negative”, although the very first session gave a bonus game on the first spin for x50.
The Bali-style break was a success).
Aloha Cluster Pays is an evergreen classic from NetEnt. I still hop in fairly often to spin it. And it’s an ideal option for clearing a wager. Bonuses have been cleared multiple times just in Aloha, without leaving the slot. You won’t hit a mega win here, the maxwin is pretty modest, but you can expect something like x100-x200. My biggest win here was around x500. And that was in regular play, from a spin that closed a nice patch of red, top masks. Usually the average multiplier in the bonus for me is around x50-x80. The slot isn’t stingy with bonuses and can give them many times almost in a row. It’s a pity the retrigger only gives one extra spin. I like that the last spin, when only top symbols remain on the reels, continues until a winning cluster occurs. It doesn’t guarantee a huge hit, but it’s nice that you don’t leave empty-handed) I used to play it often on my last money and it helped me get out of trouble more than once. Now I tend to play it when I have a decent balance and do 10-20 spins at a big stake; if the slot isn’t paying, I don’t see a point in spinning it more. 10 points to Aloha!
Aloha! Cluster Pays – a slot that’s like a free vacation: all chill, palms, pineapples, and then you realize – you just lost your last pair of shorts.
So I boot this thing up, and it goes all in my face – “Aloha!” – grins a wooden tiki big guy, like “relax, bro, this ain’t the zone.” All the graphics look like they sent you to a resort on the house: sea, sand, flowers, coconuts – pure vibe, like you’re in a bungalow with your girl sipping rum.
But behind all that beauty the machine ain’t simple. It doesn’t do lines like everyone else, it’s clusters – symbols fall in groups. Five next to each other – and you get a little payout. And if you catch a nice block of pineapples or shells – hold on, cash can rain properly. Just don’t confuse vacation with impunity: Aloha can chow you down too, like you owe it pizza from last time.
Free spins – that’s a whole other story. Hit three stamps – and they let you into the “free vacation.” Only trick is – the further in you go, the more it removes the cheap symbols, so towards the end only the fat ones are left – pineapples, masks and other goodies. If luck’s on your side – it can pay out so much you feel like a baron on the island.
Just don’t relax like a sucker in the sun. It can play “welcome to Hawaii” with you at first, and then – boom, your balance looks like a homeless guy’s after poker.
Conclusion: Aloha is like a Bali babe: pretty, smiling, promising happiness… and then your watch, wallet and even your socks are gone from the closet. You can play it, especially in the mood, but better with a cool head and a limit in your pocket.
This slot lures you in with an apparent high potential for getting the bonus game and how easy it seems to trigger. But it’s a trick. The slot doesn’t give the bonus game often – I’d even say rarely – and the slot’s potential to pay a big win in that bonus is practically never realized. The slot is always “just a little” short and the result of that is only small wins up to 50-60 bets. The biggest I managed to pull from this slot was about 200 bets, while it’s capable of paying out many times more. In the base game the slot is no joy either, since the wins it gives are minimal and bankroll retention is poor.
Visually, I also don’t like the slot and it already looked morally outdated even at the time of its release.
I wouldn’t recommend this slot for long sessions, attempts to squeeze it further, or to clear a wager. At most you can pop in for a few dozen spins to get one bonus and, regardless of the result, walk away. Otherwise, it risks even wiping out a significant bet stash.
Aloha! When Cluster Pays came out I went to play it and I spun for a very long time, later I also went into it and to this day I don’t understand what this slot is even for!
Let’s start with the fact that the payouts are very small and rare! The bonus drops fairly often – but for some reason for 2 little coins they gave a retrigger of 1 spin.. Each spin basically removes the smallest symbol and so on until only the top symbols remain – but that doesn’t help at all and in any case the payouts are still ridiculous!
Yes, in the end there’s one feature that while a spin isn’t playing the slot will keep doing respins constantly and that way the slot never hits x0, but so what? if all the bonuses are around x20-x40 and very rarely something around x100.
The design is interesting, the mechanics too – the implementation is not interesting! there’s no potential.. this is another one of NetEnt’s slots that’s only for the pretty picture and not for wins, and without wins there’s no thrill!
Now I don’t go into Aloha anymore and I don’t see the point, sadly the slot is a relic of the past! and if I do want to play something low-volatility from NetEnt it definitely won’t be Aloha.
NetEnt, back in the day, implemented an interesting-new cluster matching feature in Aloha. Aloha very often bailed me out and, by the way, more than once helped me clear the wager!) It keeps the balance quite well, thanks to the extra feature that keeps the pants up!)
Interesting slot. The concept is distinctive, the design is pleasant – when you play the first few times and haven’t looked at the game rules, there’s a lot of intrigue because of the nonstandard way the outcome is calculated and the hints at a strong winning potential.
I got to know this video slot Aloha! “Cluster Pays” from the developer NetEnt thanks to a bonus from an online casino – I remember Buran Casino gave me free spins for a 1,500 ruble deposit.
I remember that slot kept giving me bonus after bonus, everything was flashing before my eyes, the matches on the screen were burning like bright flames and Aloha himself was dancing to the music, and I admit I was mentally dancing along too)
I’ll admit I play this slot myself very rarely because I don’t really get lucky on it, only in very exceptional cases – but the slot is very colorful and cartoonish, though because of money I have to choose which games are better to play myself.
This game has one bonus: to get the bonus in the slot you need to catch three “free spin” symbols on the reels – if you catch them you get 10 free games.
The game has a play button – it lets you spin the reels; there’s an auto button so you can relax and watch the slot spin the reels automatically; there’s a max bet button so you can increase to the slot’s maximum stake; there’s a denomination button so you can change the game value from 0.5 to 10; there’s a bet button that lets you increase the bet multiplier.
The slot has a question mark symbol – it acts like a joker and equalizes values on the reels.
My parents don’t really like this game because they get very few matches in it, and for me the slot isn’t remarkable either – for me there are more interesting NetEnt slots like The Invisible Man and DOA.
I recommend playing this game to clear bonuses from the casinos themselves, because this slot holds the balance while playing – of course it might not give a lot, but you can spin a lot of rounds.
So overall my review of this slot is positive, of course, but playing purely with your own money just for luck isn’t the best option.
“Nice one”
Unfortunately I visit this slot “Aloha Cluster Pays” undeservedly rarely, and yet you could say it’s a “living legend” from provider Netent. A very dynamic and colorful slot with gorgeous masks and “bonus” games. It’s precisely in them that you have all the chances to win unexpectedly and very sharply.
So I decided to fix this gap and drop into the legendary “Aloha”. I chose the minimum allowed bet, for this slot it’s 5 rubles, and off we went. And almost on the first spin I hit a win of x50, and then small wins here and there. But after about 60 spins three scatters with free spins came in and the bonus game started, the result was a x200 win. So gradually, you could say little by little, the profit began to grow. Of course there were wins of x100, x150 and again x200, and at the end I pulled another x50. Unfortunately I didn’t encounter wins above x200, everything at least tripled.
There are no usual paylines here, the winning combination is built completely differently. The “bonus” game also has its own tricks: after a few spins symbols of flowers and fruits disappear and the chances of winning increase. I was of course waiting for the whole “field” to be strewn with identical masks and “stamps” with free spins (I think that scenario is any player’s dream). But alas, I haven’t seen that yet). There’s another trick here: for each stamp with free spins one additional “spin” is added. In total the “bonus” game gives nine free spins. There’s another trick too: if the last spin didn’t produce a winning combination, you get a kind of second chance – an extra “spin”.
As the game showed, big wins can only be expected theoretically, while in reality I only had x200.
“Aloha Cluster Pays” can be used as an option for clearing a bonus, it holds profit pretty well. Although the play was different at times – several times I lost about 50-60%. But then I returned to the starting amount and even with a “profit”. Don’t get too relaxed, “Aloha” can both “pour it on”, and …)
Personally I liked this slot for its novelty and frequent small wins, which allow you to “stay afloat” for quite a while. My rating: 8 out of 10.
This is probably the most played and legendary slot from NetEnt. The Aloha Cluster Pays machine once found a lot of fans among NetEnt game lovers. I myself played this slot a lot, and even now I don’t miss the chance to drop in and spin at least twenty spins. So to pay tribute to an old legend. In this slot I often ended up in the plus, I tried not to let it go into the minus but that happened too. The slot machine is very unpredictable. It has a large number of all kinds of winning combinations. The slot doesn’t often give huge wins like x100 or x200. But you can often get wins from x5 to x20, and that’s pretty good. That lets you play as long as possible and wait for your big hit. You can write a lot about this game, but it’s better to try it once than to read a hundred times about the possibilities of this slot machine.
The slot has a lot of winning combinations and all kinds of chances to win. That’s appealing because it lets you play for a long time with minimal losses. There’s also a bonus game – free spins; you get them if three or more free spin stickers land. If during the bonus spins you get three more stickers you’ll get two more spins on top. And so on. From the bonus you can easily take x100 and up. Personally I often get x50, less often x100, and sometimes x300. I’ve seen even bigger hits in screenshots. The slot has very big potential. That’s exactly why this slot has so many fans.
You can find drawbacks in this game, but for me they’re not something really bad, and I won’t describe them. The drawbacks of this slot are advantages in many others. Better try to play. That will be the most illustrative example for you. I think the slot won’t leave you indifferent. You’ll join the considerable number of fans of this slot machine. My rating for the slot is eight stars. It’s old but it’s a legend. Don’t pass it by, be sure to spin at least ten or twenty spins. This slot might well surprise you handsomely even with that number of spins. Good luck to everyone.
I think they tried to make something special, but it turned into a stupid misunderstanding – the slot gives nothing at all, though it can keep your balance for a long time.
there’s no thrill, for example when waiting for a combo besides the bonus, you just mindlessly press the button and wait for the result without having any idea what came up.
Here’s another peculiar game from a leading slot maker.
The game left a mixed, strange impression. It looked like the graphics were just some crudely drawn, bright, in my opinion even overly gaudy pictures.
At the same time, I think they came up with a new payoff layout for people tired of the monotonous standard payline play – basically that’s indicated in the title, that addition to the name – paid cluster – and that’s the replacement for lines here.
In other words, a winning combination here is a match of nine or more identical symbols standing next to each other, excluding those next to each other diagonally, of course.
They also added the “Sticky Win Re-Spin” feature – it randomly triggers a free spin for the prize while matches of newly dropped symbols with the existing cluster continue. Theoretically, this could eventually cover all the reels, but I haven’t seen that up close, and I doubt it will ever fill everything with high-paying symbols…
They didn’t forget the regular bonus free spins either: three postage stamp symbols trigger 9 games. Additional stamps that land during the bonus game add more spins.
Another new thing I hadn’t seen before is the “Free Spins Drop Symbol” – it removes cheap symbols from subsequent spins, supposedly increasing the chances to win something actually worthwhile, instead of, as usual when a field scatters, getting a pile of penny symbols.
In the end I came to the conclusion that the slot is for a niche audience again, because of the acid color scheme and, most importantly, because of the gameplay being cluster-based rather than payline-based. It might be good for variety. I haven’t tried it myself, but judging by everything it’s suitable for bonus play; everyone rates the volatility as low, i.e. it shouldn’t burn through your balance immediately, but it also doesn’t look like you’ll win anything spectacular.
Hello respected readers, lovers of gambling and ludo maniacs. Many of you, of course, have already tasted big wins. This is a colorful and fun, like a party, and very generous video slot from Netent. Drum roll… and… and… I present to you Aloha! Cluster Pays or just Alyoha. Actually the name has Hawaiian origins and means at once “hello”, “goodbye”, “welcome”. Admit it, you name a ship and that’s how it will sail. Enough with the identifications, it’s time to move on to the description of this marvelous Lyoshik. I hope this article will be useful to Beginners in the world of casino games, and maybe interesting to experienced players. Rich Alyoshka, tell us a little about yourself. In order now:… the slot has 5 reels, there are no paylines at all (the reason lies in the winning combinations). Bonus game: 9 free spins +1 spin if an extra “free spins” symbol appears. During free spins you will also get magazines with the inscription “free spins”, for every 3 you will receive one extra spin. Free Spins in Aloha are not just spins without their own gimmick… there is a very interesting feature, namely every 2 spins one type of fruit or flower disappears from the reels increasing your chances for a big win. On the last spin only masks and magazines remain. If on the last spin no combination hits. Then you are given another chance, the reels spin again. Another important distinctive feature is Sticky Win Re-Spins. A feature that randomly appears during the game, I want you to see for yourself what Sticky Win is capable of, because it’s a long story to describe in words how it works. I’ll tell you a secret… whisper… This is one of the first slots that gave me one of the biggest wins in all my Lado obsession. Enjoy your game and big wins, Gentlemen.

Have a pleasant game and big wins, gentlemen.)
I very rarely come in to play the Aloha slot; mostly I play it when there’s only a little money on my balance, since you can play this slot for 5 rubles. So the other day while playing at the casino I decided to hop in and try to boost my balance a bit. On about the 10th spin at a 10-ruble bet it gave me top symbols almost filling the whole screen at x120 – 1,200 rubles was a pretty good result to keep playing at the casino.
I really like in this slot when a sticky wild-like feature appears, where on respins it adds one or more symbols, and it can close the whole screen with the same symbols. The bonus game in this slot is very cool: on every second spin it removes the cheap symbols and on the final spins only the big symbols remain, which can also fill the whole screen, and also when three or more scatter symbols land in the bonus it adds 1 extra bonus spin, which is pretty nice at the end when it lands only symbols.
I never stay long in this slot – if it gives something good right away I quickly quit it without waiting for the bonus game, because it can give bonuses one after another, or it can not give them for a very long time, even if you spin at different bet sizes.
So I do have experience with this slot and, strangely enough, it’s positive. In other slots I often sit for a long time, but here I have a so-called Stop Lose. Most likely I originally considered this slot only to bump up my balance and then go to other slots to try for bigger multipliers. Mostly because structurally this slot can’t really give that much.
Aloha Cluster Pays, a relatively new slot from Netent.
Judging by the name it’s done in a Hawaiian style. The sounds, the visuals, and so on blatantly remind you of that.
What I couldn’t figure out is how many actual winning lines there are. Because a winning combination in this slot depends on a certain number of symbols located next to each other. And if one of the symbols is diagonal, it doesn’t count toward the total.
There are two bonus games in the slot.
The first one, as I understand it, occurs randomly. When a certain number of winning symbols remain in place, then with each subsequent free spin, if identical symbols land adjacent to an existing winning combination, they get added.
Theoretically this can continue until the winning symbols fill all the symbols on the slot. Then of course the payout will be decent.
Forgot to say that the minimum bet in this slot is 10 cents or euros depending on the account currency.
The Wild symbol is implemented kind of oddly. It’s a symbol with a question mark, and it activates (if I understood correctly) randomly when it can create a winning combination. But I repeat, that doesn’t happen very often.
The second bonus game is basically traditional. It’s triggered by 3 or more scatters. With that combination you get 9 free spins. The main twist of the free spins is that when winning combinations occur with the “cheap” symbols, they disappear for the rest of those spins and are replaced by the top ones. The chance of a big win in that case increases. If during the free spins another 2 or more scatters appear, that increases the number of spins by 2 or more.
Personally, with a €5 deposit I once climbed up to €35 on this slot. And that was on the minimum bet.
Hi everyone, today I want to leave a review of a slot from NetEnt, namely the slot Aloha – one of the latest creations of a giant like NetEnt. So friends, what can I say, as always when I saw that NetEnt (my favorite company that makes slots) released a new slot I couldn’t just walk by. So I decided to test the new slot at Betsafe casino and made a deposit of 20 bucks since I didn’t really want to play much, just to test the slot. I entered the slot and was immediately happy – the slot is very colorful and very nicely drawn, well as always no questions about the design, it’s all cool.
So I’ll start with the base game: without the bonus it’s of course very hard to hit a big win, you need very difficult combinations to line up. Anyway, in 2 hours of play I didn’t hit more than x20, not in the bonus games, but in the bonus game it’s another story – it’s done quite originally and very cool. The dynamic is that every 2 spins a small symbol is removed by 1 until only 1 spin remains and you are left only with scatters which give +1 spin to the bonus game if you catch at least 3 of them, and the high-paying symbols are the columns of Hawaiian gods (or something like that).
So in the first bonus game I quickly reached the last spin and then hit re-spins like 5 times in a row, and in the end I caught the red god – 4 full columns – and the slot paid x150 or something and I saw the light, and then I thought what would have happened if I’d collected a full set under x500, maybe it would have been that, and that’s even though red isn’t the top symbol.
In general the conclusion is: the slot is cool only in the bonus game and only if it gets going on re-spins, otherwise nothing special but you can play it – it can pay out big but only in the bonus as it seems to me.
The Aloha slot from NetEnt has 5 reels, but how many lines it has – guess for yourself. And over the whole time I played it, I still never figured out how the lines actually work there. Sometimes you get 3 in a row with a wild on a fruit symbol or on one of those memory symbols, and the line still doesn’t pay out.
The slot itself is pretty decent, of course it can’t pay huge sums. At least it didn’t pay me, but to kill time – this slot is perfect.
From how I understand it and from what I got, there are 2 bonus features there: the first is respins. You need to land the line or something like that, and then with some probability the respins can start. The respins will last as long as you keep hitting the symbols you caught before the respins started. It’s a pretty interesting thing, I’d say – it can pay out almost as much as, or even more than, the bonus game; I got 20, 40, and 60 bets. Of course it’s best when it catches the most expensive symbols, because even with a small number of those symbols, the payouts are pretty decent.
There is also a bonus game. To activate it, you need to hit from three to five scatters. The more scatters you catch, the more free spins you get in the bonus game. Unfortunately, I never managed to hit more than 3 scatters; for 3 scatters I got 9 free spins. In the bonus game, if you land another scatter, you get additional free spins – the more scatters, the more extra free spins. But the number of free spins that are already given inside the bonus game is a bit different. For 3 caught scatters, they give 2 or 3 free spins, etc.
The bonus is made so that the more fruits you catch during the bonus, the better, because at the end of the free spins the fruits actually disappear from the reels, and how fast they disappear depends on how many you caught in the first free spins. The fruits disappear and only TOP symbols and scatters remain. At the moment when only the top symbols and scatters remain, it’s better to catch 3-4-5 scatters again to get more free spins. There are no wilds in the bonus game; in the base game, wilds do appear and they land on all five reels, at least that’s how I noticed it.
The slot can keep your balance going for quite a long time, drop you down and bring you back up to roughly the same level you started at. And even on a good run it can even leave you a bit ahead 🙂
I highly recommend this slot to play. It has become one of my favorites.

Lately I realized that in Aloha, you need to play not with a small stake., but go big right away, with a slightly bigger one. If it does not give – RUN. If it does – take it. At the moment, one of my VERY-VERY FAVORITE SLOTS. Overall, among all providers.
Yes,this game really ripped me off.It doesn’t pay out quickly-run away from it.I’ll probably remember it for a long time,in a bad way.

Yeah, it’ll stop….) You always think it’s gonna give back what it just gobbled up)
