A very complex slot in terms of its mechanics, in my opinion, but at the same time it has a simply gorgeous potential to pay out a big win, which, although rare, still happens. Accordingly, you need a very, very large bankroll and patience, which of course doesn’t guarantee “pushing through” the slot, but gives a pretty decent chance of success.
In the base game the slot doesn’t play particularly well and balance holding is not the best. Bonus games don’t drop super often, and mostly come in series, with an average win of around 40-60 bets, while completely empty bonuses are more the exception than the rule.
Visually the slot is of course morally outdated, and so is its functionality.
Short gaming sessions rarely bring results, and getting a good win right from the start is really a big piece of luck, which is why short sessions are not recommended.
For wagering playthroughs this slot will be far from the best choice. Overall, I would probably recommend refraining from playing this slot, and if you like this kind of mechanic, it’s better to choose an updated “cowboy” newcomer with the same functionality.
I give The Falcon Huntress by Thunderkick a 6. And that’s because it’s very hard to hit the bonuses. I played it for many hours, but only caught the bonus a handful of times. Still, I think the slot is worth trying. You can win on it and the mechanics are quite interesting.
The slot is themed around some kind of peoples – hard to say which exactly. Maybe it’s a composite image. The title specifically refers to a falcon huntress.
The sounds and music are great. The graphics are rather simple, although Thunderkick have never been known for ultra-graphic-heavy slots. So it’s probably OK.
The slot has 9 paylines. You don’t get huge wins in the base spins, but there’s a chance to trigger the bonus mechanic. If you hit a qualifying win, there’s a chance the function will expand the winning combination to a full reel. In my experience that happens very rarely. And wins themselves, honestly, don’t come often.
To get into the bonus you need to collect 3 hawks. If they land during the bonus – +10 spins more.
The bonus mechanic is like this – any match will expand up and down, occupying the entire reel. Basically if a whole line appears, it will expand and pay out as 9 paylines of wins.
Symbols pay pretty well overall. But they don’t hit often. That’s why I consider the slot high volatility.
It’s definitely worth trying. But I wouldn’t play it regularly. There’s a big chance you’ll leave everything in it.
The Falcon Huntress, to me, isn’t much different from the same Vodoo by Endorphina!
In the bonus there’s also a system of expanding symbols that reveal themselves if they land in a line from left to right (not necessarily all the way) – basically one version of book slots but with a slightly changed mechanic where you don’t have to catch a specific symbol!
The bonus often lands retriggers – and that’s a plus. But there are many empty spins and that’s a huge minus
Payouts here seem higher than in the Endorphina analogue however there are differences in a better direction!
For example the slot can reveal a symbol just during base spins too – but this happens randomly and rarely! It can even place top symbols in line during a spin and reveal them, but unfortunately I haven’t seen that.
Overall the slot is not bad but I wasn’t very lucky with it, the only thing that makes me happy is that the bonuses are often not zero and at least give something, while Thunderkick likes to make bonuses with x0.
The design is a bit nicer than Endorphina’s of course, but Thunderkick overall did a good job on the design.
The slot is still relevant now, I think it won’t lose relevance because there aren’t many slots with this kind of feature.
I liked it, you just need to catch three shamans and expand the reels, you’ll immediately get x300. The bonus is good, it always expands the reels. I recommend the slot, it pays fairly often.
This slot stuck in my memory for a long time because I almost always go in to spin it at the minimum bet. What attracts me is that you can catch more than x10,000 of the total bet – who wouldn’t like a win like that. This slot is very colorfully designed, the game is so interesting that you can sit and play for hours and never get tired of it. The graphical presentation of many features – even when symbols can land they can also randomly expand across all reels, and that’s something big-win lovers will enjoy.
In my opinion it’s rather hard to trigger the bonus game in this one, but when it does it’s often very generous; for example in this slot I got x250, x400, x550 of the total bet. While that’s not so much when you’re betting 5 rubles each, the excitement is always in just getting the free spins in this game, because they’re so magical and interesting that any fan will appreciate them. The thing is, when any symbols land on the paylines they expand to all reels, so you can get 2, 3 or even 4 matching symbols per spin. Very often the bonus game gives a so-called retrigger, which adds an additional 10 free spins – I even had that happen 3 times in one bonus.
Of course it’s happened that you can spin the slot 300, 400 or even 500 times and not see a bonus; I guess that’s the hallmark of high-volatility slots, which can go a long time without paying but then give out a lot. Personally I like playing these kinds of slot games, but you should also consider that when playing them you need a sufficient balance so you don’t end up with zero.
Whenever I load this game I plan on having roughly a 500-spin bankroll and then there’s no problem and I play with full enjoyment without watching my balance – which is what I recommend you do in the future when playing this slot game.
