I hit the top bonus three times – that’s when you get five scatters – but most surprisingly I somehow only hit them on the bonus balance and the max was x800-something… The slot also has an extra button to increase the chance of winning a bonus; there’s a purchase for the regular bonus and the pre-top bonus (that’s when you get four scatters). There’s also a buy option costing x60 of the bet – I don’t recommend it because it’s scamy: although it always gives a spin result, very often that result is only x3 or x5 of the bet. It’s better to play with the extra button, but you also shouldn’t stay too long on the slot with the extra button. Relatively new slot from provider Haskaf, Le Faraon is like a second part of Le Bandita which doesn’t have many differences, but I personally didn’t notice much in terms of wins..
I want to note that it’s definitely easier to catch the bonus here – however the quality of the bonuses is much worse than in the first part, and the hot mod (5 scatters) is caught more often here too, but if in the first part it gives at least x500, here the hot mod can quite well give x200 and that’s it! So chasing it while playing with the x5 stake feature is definitely not worth it! In terms of design the slot is nicer, mechanically it’s a bit different too – both in the lines (sticky symbols) and in the two types of bonus – however there are too many effects here and they do a lot less! My game sessions in Faraon were not very good, I caught a lot of bonuses but all were x50-x100 and no more! For the wager the slot is quite suitable if you spin with x5, but again – if it gives you 50 spins without a bonus the balance flies away and subsequent bonuses will definitely not compensate for that effort.
Is such a slot needed and is it better than the first part? I think the slot is definitely needed and although I compare it to the first part, it’s totally different, it’s pleasing that Haskaf didn’t just take different pictures and leave the same mechanics like some providers do!
I give it a high score despite my not very good experience, because we have seen similar coin mechanics many times but certainly not in this execution! And the choice of two different bonuses on a hit is much better than just one standard bonus… I also liked that scatters seem to fall more easily by hand thanks to the sticky symbols and re-spins… that’s not in the first part again! Well, as for payouts it’s sadly as always and don’t expect a payout by hand – only bonus, but I think we’re used to that from the original Le Bandita. Personally I added the slot to my favorites and will drop into it from time to time, and it’s definitely worth trying at least once.
