Big Stack Lumberjack – a slot from provider Print studios about a lumberjack you mostly swear at during play) The slot is interesting, like everything from this provider. I hit a couple of x1000 wins with some change, but it’s also very high variance.
There are two types of bonus, differing by volatility, but of course the 7-spin bonus is preferable. The idea is to collect multipliers from the trees that are added to each of the 4 types, ideally catch a couple of retrigs and hope that this chubby guy will come down and chop them to the LEFT!!!) The slot is also a progressive one, so if you can’t hit 3 scatters outright, you wait for the tree to grow and start catching axes – each axe is 1 hit on the tree, but it’s not that simple for those who think they’re smarter than others and immediately raise the bet hoping the tree is about to fall) First, he can take a very long time to chop it down, and with dead spins you can burn your bankroll. And even after finally chopping it, you might see only x5-x10 in the bonus) The slot’s algorithm is tricky, but still danceable; I recommend this provider to everyone, the game mechanics are peculiar, and you can win big. In this case we have potential up to x20000, which is pretty good.
Big Stack Lumberjack is an engaging, interesting slot from the provider Print studios. The first time I went in to play it, I didn’t get it, made a few spins, the lumberjack ran up, chopped a tree with the number “100” at the bottom, it fell luckily and I won x600 my bet, I thought, that’s decent. The design is interesting, the theme is the forest, tree cutting, the lumberjack waiting, you watch to see if he’ll chop the tree or not. The visuals are worked out at a high level. The programmers made an interesting math model, I don’t remember such an implementation in other slots. Trees have good multipliers and in the base game they can fall successfully from the lumberjack’s hit. The bonus game starts after 3 scatter-axe symbols land. There are 2 bonus game options: 10 spins – the easy option, 7 spins – risky, but with bigger multipliers on the trees. The 7-spin bonus also drops naturally during play, when a big tree grows and the lumberjack moves up to it; when special axes land on the slot reels, the lumberjack hits/chops the tree according to the number of those axes on the reels. And the tree falls over time. I like this slot, I play it from time to time.
The most annoying slot from Print in my memory. Subjectively, of course…
As always we’re greeted by a gorgeous slot from the masters at Print Studio under the wing of Relax (in some casinos this provider isn’t even listed separately). Visually everything is top-notch, and the ear is pleased by the nice music and sounds. It’s always interesting here in general, but Print also stands out with its mechanics, often even new ones in the slot world…
Here we have a lumberjack theme, who of course chops trees that are supposed to fall and give us mega wins via multipliers. Spoiler – the trees almost never fall where they should, and then there are no wins. That’s the whole “annoying” thing about the slot. The bonus, by the way, exists in three variants. Three scatters give a choice of two: one gives small but frequent wins, the other the opposite… Always remember that the trees always fall in the wrong direction…
There’s also a super bonus that can be triggered without scatters, when a tree in the background grows to maximum and an axe symbol appears on the reels – each symbol gives a chance to chop it down. But this can drag on – that’s annoying again.
Result. A beautiful and very frustrating slot
Big Stack Lumberjack
A fresh and interesting slot from the up-and-coming provider Print Studios.
RTP and Volatility
A high-volatility slot with an RTP of 96% and a max win of x20000. Better suited for short sessions up to 100 spins, but you should watch the return-if it’s holding your balance, it’s worth persevering.
Gameplay and bonus mechanics
The slot is nicely drawn and voiced, you can play it for a long time without stress, but alas the base game usually isn’t very rewarding because of small payouts. It only makes sense to spin more than 100 times if your balance holds; otherwise cash out, because it can withhold the bonus for a long time (300+ spins) and even if it gives one, it can easily be x5-20. If it’s holding, then the chances of a non-empty bonus are good. It also makes sense to continue after a successful bonus, because it can give an extra. You get to choose between 2 bonuses and in my opinion the bonus with the bigger multiplier on 7 spins is preferable. There’s also a special bonus that accumulates during play – the growing tree at the top left. As soon as it grows you need to hit the axe symbol (which appears at the final stage). How many times you need to catch that symbol is unknown; sometimes it took 2 hits to chop it, and sometimes it required 23!! hits, so I definitely don’t recommend pushing it to the limit (I’ll add that in my case it ultimately gave x18, so the slot scammed me).
You can also buy bonuses right away, but volatility is high – it can easily wash out the buy.
Overall impression
Good slot, definitely worth checking in on from time to time. I haven’t hit more than x400 here yet, but the potential is felt.
A really savage and volatile slot – Big Stack Lumberjack!
I really like Print Studio because of their unusual slots both in design and mechanics, and when Lumberjack came out I immediately went to spin it!
To start with, the design here is just awesome – and the bonus is something I haven’t seen in any other slot. In the bonus different kinds of full-grown trees fall, and even if they don’t form wins they give multipliers that will apply to that tree until the end of the bonus. Besides that, the lumberjack can also chop down trees and that way the payout becomes even bigger.
Also, this bonus can appear without scatters, just randomly – each scatter the lumberjack hits a tree (in the distance of the slot) and if he cuts the tree down there will be a bonus (kind of like an enhanced one).
Of course the slot has many downsides too – for example wins in the slot are very rare and you can get exactly 0 wins for a bonus and then the bonus will be x0!
Spins also rarely produce wins – so I wouldn’t give a wager much credit on this slot and at most would give it 50 spins and if there’s no bonus I’d leave.
