I highly rate the level of implementation of games from this provider – the artwork, sound, mechanics, everything is pleasing and it’s nice to play these slots. Although the game itself is very dark, it’s not tiring and you can play for a long time, except for the bonus game, where I think they went overboard with the cacophony when several wilds land. The slot is medium-high volatility and you can usually spin for a long time. In the base game catching a big win is unlikely, but I managed to hit up to x200 thanks to a random gigasymbol that covered the field up to the first reel. Gigasymbols are random and usually cover the field up to 2-3 (rarely up to 1) reels, plus there’s an additional multiplier for winning lines thanks to randomly scattered multiplier droplets. Overall it’s not boring and you can spin for quite a while. All the potential is of course concentrated in the bonus, and it hits rarely and, what’s most annoying, most bonuses are empty or half-empty. For a big win you need the game to close all 5 pentagrams and for the Cashier) to be triggered, which fills the whole center with wilds, and the earlier the better. That happens very infrequently, and although the game can give it quickly, it can also go 30-50 bonuses without closing. It makes sense to try buying bonuses, but I wouldn’t recommend more than 5-10 – there’s too big a potential for busting.

In darkness the visuals and design are super cool, the figures are drawn really nicely down to the details. The only thing missing is some special effects and maybe darker music to fully match the slot’s theme.

We got together with friends, each chipped in $30 and we were having a blast not only from the slot’s atmosphere but from the game mechanics too – something was always happening, something would drop, there was no stingy loss of balance downward or standing still, basically a roller coaster of emotions, just how we like it!

We have a rule not to buy bonuses because we’re not lucky with them, so I can’t say anything about those.
But the bet range in the slot is nice, there’s room to play around and experiment.

In a spin, with a certain chance a giga symbol flies across, which can increase the chance of getting a win; if it stops, it can land nicely and there will be multipliers (in my experience this happened exactly 2 times, the rest of the time it either lands crooked, or the symbol is cheap, or there are no multipliers)

The bonus is much more interesting than it might seem.

If there are marks on the table in the shape of a pentagram, when a wild symbol lands on them it gets frozen. When the pentagram is filled completely (5 wilds) a giga wild opens on reels 2, 3 and 4, and then hold onto your pants and widen your pockets. Also, when a wild lands on the pentagram marks you get 2 spins added. The earlier you fill it, the more spins you get in the so-called true big-win bonus. The biggest I got was around x2000, even though the giga wild remained for only 2-3 spins. It fills, by the way, as often as it might seem – out of 5-10 bonuses I usually filled the whole pentagram once, sometimes twice. The slot is definitely worth your attention, go for it. Even if you don’t want to spin, just buy bonuses at a small stake. I attached a couple of screenshots when I filled it on the minimum bet, and a couple of payouts from spins when there was already a giga wild.

Darkness is a pretty good slot but how much it teases you is just awful!

The slot has a bonus – in the bonus you need to collect a pentagram from special symbols (old guys) that also act as WILD symbols, and if you collect them a DEMON appears covering the entire 2-3-4 reel who acts as a WILD symbol and will stay active until the end of the free spins.

The main thing is for that demon to appear as quickly as possible, and then a big win is guaranteed because the slot also has line multipliers (little drops) – but that feature is already standard for all Print Studio slots.

It teases you a lot because you constantly miss just a tiny bit to unlock the demon – and since you understand there will be a big win with it, you always wait for it! And it might not appear for 10-20 and a huge number of bonuses because it really pays off badly.

The smallest I caught with the demon active was x800! But it can easily give the max win too.

Without it – the bonus is relatively useless and gives at most x100-x200 and that’s it. The slot is a brutal teasing, high-variance game and I don’t recommend hanging around in it! And it’s better not to buy more than 2-3 bonuses either.
