Evil Eyes is an exciting video slot from provider Hacksaw Gaming that plunges players into a world of magic and mysticism. The slot combines vibrant graphics, engaging gameplay and plenty of ways to win.
From the very first session, its atmospheric design stood out. A dark background, mystical symbols and vivid animations create a gripping atmosphere.
Whenever a new slot from this provider comes out, I immediately go to “check” it. Yes, they make many slots that look beautiful, but you also want to win on them. In this game I just had no luck. I hit lots of bonuses, both regular and top ones, but I couldn’t win much. I actually liked the regular bonus more. By the way, in it I managed to win the most – x750. In the top one I couldn’t even hit x100. It seemed to me that the top bonus is somehow hard to land. In my opinion, they overcomplicated the mechanics. Sometimes I just kept spinning, the slot held its balance very well, which allowed me to play it for a long time, and the feature (the eye) gave x300-x500.
Overall I have mixed feelings about the slot. It looks nice and has good potential, but I haven’t been lucky enough to win big on it yet.
The provider Hacksaw Gaming surprised me again with its new unique gameplay mechanic in the slot Evil Eyes. For this provider it has become the norm to create very well-drawn slots and add various sound effects. Due to the high volatility of the slot I would not recommend enabling the feature that increases the chance of triggering the bonus game – bonuses drop very rarely even when it’s on. But the x50 bet feature where 3 guaranteed eye symbols (which collect multipliers) and a guaranteed x4 multiplier appear is quite workable, although the symbols need to land correctly since there’s a random collection mechanic and the eye symbol can rotate in any direction. There’s also another feature that just makes an eye symbol drop, but I didn’t like it because I didn’t figure out how it works.
There are two types of bonuses: the simple bonus Wicked Night and the super bonus The Graveyard (when 3 or 4 scatter symbols land; purchase is available for x100 and x200 the bet). The simple bonus is a multiplier-collecting mechanic, you get 3 chances, but it’s worth noting that multipliers and the eye symbol shouldn’t just drop – the eye needs to collect them; if a multiplier wasn’t added to the top of the screen then one chance is lost, if a play occurs the chances reset back to 3. The super bonus has a very complex mechanic: the symbols need to be played in stages when the eye appears, then they are removed and afterwards only high-paying symbols may remain. Personally I sometimes jump in to play Evil Eyes, but no more than 50 spins; the only incentive for me is the hefty maximum win claimed by the provider of x12500.
This isn’t a slot, it’s just brutal! Evil Eyes – as soon as it came out I remember I immediately went in to buy everything I could on the min bet, from features at x50 of the stake to the top bonus, and how disappointed I was by the outcome!
First of all, in the top bonus an eye drops that replaces symbols with others and can even put a full screen – but given the weak payouts this doesn’t help much + on top of that it’s unclear how this eye works because sometimes it substitutes symbols and sometimes it doesn’t.. very strange, and the bonus often gives just x10 even though it costs as much as x200 of the stake, I don’t see the point of spending that kind of money in this slot.
The features are a total scam – they take x50 of the stake and give absolutely nothing, or they give very little.
To me the slot is a total mess – I don’t even have any idea how it could pay the max win! I also spun manually, it’s very hard to hit anything and when you do hit something you’re left looking at matches that pay x1-x2 of the stake.
I really didn’t like the slot, I don’t see any potential in it! They overcomplicated things, made useless features and a sketchy design.
