There’s no doubt Immortal Desire is inspired by the well-known Immortal Romance from Microgaming (now Games Global . That said, Hacksaw didn’t bother to create a backstory for each character the way Microgaming did. Still, you’ll see seemingly meek religious ladies turn into sharp-toothed vampires, and the creepy soundtrack fits the horror vibe perfectly. The visuals and audio are top-notch, even though the slot is about vampire women, it feels kind of calm and soothing. The visuals are excellent, but the payouts (we don’t play slots just to look at pictures) leave much to be desired. I managed to hit the top bonus a few times with 4 scatters, but even that didn’t give a noticeable balance boost – the max was about x300. You can of course catch a nice multiplier, but you need a lot of luck with the “bloody reels” and the vampire symbols. Specifically: from 1 to 5 reels can randomly turn into «Bloody Reels», and this can happen in the base game or in one of the bonus rounds. All female character symbols on a «Bloody Reel» transform into their vampire counterparts, and those symbols pay out the same as normal. The difference is that vampire symbols come with random multipliers from x2 to x100. Matching vampire symbols always get the same multiplier value, and these multipliers are added together to boost the winning combination they’re part of.

But the top, buffed version of the Chaos Crew bonus is different. There are symbols that add to the cell multiplier up to x500, symbols that multiply the cell multiplier up to x10. There are also epic symbols that apply their x to all cells at once. A special coffin feature also appeared, which stays until the end of the bonus and at the very end multiplies the cell multiplier up to x10. Of course, catching x500 is extremely hard, I haven’t actually seen such a number. All big wins come from a couple of x10 multipliers.

In the regular bonus my record is x400, and in the top one x1800. There was a chance to score a lot with spins, but I didn’t place the top girl on the first reel when all the blood reels were there.

The slot’s design is obviously monotonous, but I really liked the sound of the spins and the appearance of various special symbols. I actually really liked Immortal Desire and there are a few reasons.

First of all, there are two types of bonus here and they are completely different and have their own functions.

The first, cheaper bonus has free spins and in the free spins you need to catch crosses – those in turn open multipliers and if you catch them fully on all reels and then a line, the final multiplier will be very huge.

The second bonus is at the same time more interesting but also more volatile.

The top bonus (4 scatters) pays x200 of the bet – they also give you free spins and vampire girl symbols fall on the reels – different symbols have different multipliers and functions! there are ones that just give X and ones that spread the X to each reel or re-multiply the win that already dropped!

Overall, because there are as many as 2 types of bonuses the slot is by no means boring – but Haskaf, as usual, made the slot interesting but completely useless without the bonus! Also the coffin function in the 2nd bonus is unclear, yes it multiplies the whole X on the reel at the end but it gives a rather weak multiplier! So in terms of slot interest – definitely a like, in terms of payouts – no.
