Le Cowboy is a slot from provider Hacksaw Gaming.
Basically the same Le Bandit, just the raccoon was dressed up as a cowboy. The bonus mechanics stayed the same, but they added the option to “break through” and upgrade the bonus. I really liked that. In the previous versions, when the raccoon triggered a regular bonus, you had to watch it with pain. Take another x20 and be happy.
At first, when the slot just came out, I played it a lot and always broke through the bonuses. I don’t see any point in watching a regular bonus at all, because even if you don’t get lucky upgrading, a coin will drop from bronze to gold. Yeah, bronze is pretty sad, but gold can give more (x50-100) than a simple bonus would. Three scatters came up pretty easily and often. About 5 times I was lucky to break through to the hot mode, which gave from x1000 to x4000. Over time the luck completely stopped and about 50-70 top bonuses in a row were lost. I decided to stop breaking through and at least leave the top ones. I still caught decent wins in them around x1000-1500, which are pretty nice hits too.
Le Cowboy
It turned out to be not just an ordinary reskin, but a unique slot in the Le series from Haxava, which combines different mechanics, plus the max win is increased to x25000 with medium-high volatility. The gameplay of the main game is interesting, wilds with multipliers drop often, activating the bonus mechanic with shooting and spins that create interesting, winning combinations. There’s also an additional chance for x5 the base price, but I don’t see the point in spinning more than 10-15 times, since the base bonus is only x65 and it’s easier to switch to buying, especially since the slot usually doesn’t scam too hard and gives back almost half (at least a third) most of the time. There’s also a chance to upgrade bonuses, with a 1 in 4 chance for a simple to a top one, and 1 in 8 for a top to an epic one, but I don’t recommend it, as it often scams and instead of an upgrade gives a coin, and attempts to try again can really drain you, as if the real chance is 1 in 10, not 4, and I won’t even mention trying to hit a top one, especially since it costs a standard x200. All three bonuses have interesting and different gameplay, and there’s always potential for a big win thanks to the overall mechanics of the slot with gold coins, diamonds, clovers, a golden clover-multiplier that multiplies the whole field, a collector, and a revolver reload. There’s also an additional function that guarantees the drop of two revolvers, but I’ve played it little, as it can drain you very quickly and very hard. I play this slot quite often, but I still haven’t hit a win of several thousand, nor the top bonus with 5 scatters. Overall, the impression is excellent, I recommend it.
The Le Cowboy slot from Hacksaw is a unique slot with a multi-level bonus – that’s what stuck with me most.
Forget the usual “a few scatters = bonus.” Everything here revolves around a revolver. See that raccoon with a wanted icon on the reels? That’s your golden ticket. If he lands in a winning cluster he turns into a revolver reel loaded with bullets. And then the fun part starts: it fires randomly across the grid and unlocks all kinds of crazy stuff. Coins, diamonds, clovers, multipliers and fat sacks that scoop up all the loot on the screen. One lucky spin can trigger such a chain reaction your eyes go wide. This isn’t a game, it’s a cinematic shootout.
This slot has a very high x ceiling – 25,000x is the maximum; I even caught x1000 in a regular spin once. I usually play it at the minimum bet, a couple of times I reached the next bonus level.
Among the downsides: the bonus is very expensive if you buy it; if you don’t buy it you may wait a long time, because volatility is high. I periodically hop into slots with the raccoon, like Le Banit, Le Cowboy, etc., but this isn’t my main slot – it might click for you though.
Le Cowboy from Hacksaw, strange that there are so few reviews for the slot.
Hacksaw are, of course, masters at making slots with character. Le Cowboy is no exception. They throw you into the Wild West, but not with romance, rather with sun-scorched reality. This time our favorite raccoon likes to shoot. Honestly, the only thing I like about the raccoons are the bonuses, since the regular spins rarely give good combos.
Let’s talk about the bonus round with free spins. I like that both the regular and the top bonuses have a risk chance. And breaking into hot mode is more than realistic. I hit it twice from the simple one. And with a small bet I caught x1000 and x1500. I didn’t try with big bets. The raccoon shoots coins, and the more combos you hit, the more ammo he has. There are also bag and clover features, all the things we like. Also the base slot has a feature with an extra chance, which is nice too. I think many people grabbed something in this slot.
But Le Cowboy has a flip side. The slot is noticeably volatile. Wins can be big, but the gaps between them sometimes drag on. You need patience and a larger bankroll so you don’t fold halfway.
One more thing – the design, while stylish, is a bit minimalist. There aren’t any super effects or wow graphics. Everything is pretty simple, concise. But overall, Le Cowboy from Hacksaw Gaming is an interesting and atmospheric slot. If you like high-risk slots with potentially big payouts, it’s worth a try. But remember – be ready for a long grind if you don’t use the chance or don’t take the bonuses yourself.
The slot itself is implemented very well – not surprising since the development was handled by Hackscav Gaming. The slot’s interface is pretty simple, yet it looks modern, plays very smoothly, plus it has unique mechanics so it’s really fun to play. I personally spun it a bit – no less than 200 spins – but unfortunately I couldn’t hit the bonus rounds in those 200 spins. As for the specs, as always there’s a pretty big max win of 25,000x your stake; the game is played on 6 reels and 5 rows.
Main feature: Revolver Reveals: This is the game’s core “gimmick”. If a Wild symbol (the “wanted” badge) lands in a winning cluster, it turns into a Revolver Cylinder with 2-6 “shots”. After the cascades finish, the revolver fires shots at random positions on the grid, revealing special symbols:
· Coins and Diamonds: Pay instant payouts (from 1x to 500x the bet).
· Clovers: Multipliers. Green clovers multiply neighboring symbol values, while Gold ones multiply all symbols on the grid.
· Loot Bags: Collect the values of all coins, diamonds and other bags on the grid.
· Reload: Can reload all active revolvers with new shots, extending the feature.
I’m just unlucky in Le Cowboy. The slot, of course, came out recently, but it’s already become hated by me, because it eats worse than other Le…
Le Cowboy is a somewhat unique slot. Kind of like Le Viking and Le Zeus. They have unique mechanics, unlike other Le titles where there are spins + rainbows, and here you get coins, collections, clovers and stuff like that. Of course, coins and clovers remain, there’s even a bag instead of a vase, but the slot is unique in many other aspects. Here only wins with wilds or bullets from the big revolver (typical for top bonuses) bring coins. So there are no rainbows, no cells that turn into desirable coins. There’s only the revolver drum.
In the regular bonus, which is priced record-low for the Le branch at x65, coins appear only from wild hits. 1 wild = 1 revolver. In the top bonus there’s also accumulation of the big revolver from each hit. In the hidden every spin plays the big revolver, and the coins are at least silver. A characteristic feature of the slot is the function of breaking into a more top bonus. You can even get the hidden, which I haven’t managed after more than 10 broken bonuses. I’ve upgraded the regular to the top many times – no further. In the demo the very first bonus upgraded to the hidden – alas and alack!
There’s an extra bet costing x3 of the regular bet and a feature that’s more expensive than the regular bonus – x75. After about 20 bought ones it didn’t give me even x200 once.
So far all my sessions here have been bad. We’ll see what happens next. Wishing everyone a wagon of hiddens and a max win on top!
