Slot Silverback Gold (2021) from NetEnt continues the jungle theme, with “wild” apes and other predators). Interesting concept, good graphics and animation, and the sound design vaguely evokes the jungle from afar.

What an unpleasant slot Silverback Gold is! They even added a bonus that you can buy, but in reality it’s so-so.

To begin with, the bonus strongly reminds me of Pink Elephants, etc. – only NetEnt’s adaptation is even worse than the original.

In the bonus you have to collect gorillas to unlock symbols – and you need a lot of them! Even retriggers don’t help you reach at least the middle… and even if you’re lucky and miraculously get far, that doesn’t guarantee they’ll drop and give decent multipliers.

It feels like I’m playing a high-variance slot, but judging by the payouts and the fact that people don’t really hit big on this slot – it’s definitely not a high-variance game, just unfinished!

The design is cool – the idea is interesting even if completely ripped off, but why make it so complicated and require so much collecting? Even though they give a certain number of points initially, it still doesn’t help!

Without the bonus I don’t see any reason to spin it – if the slot doesn’t give the bonus and you don’t want to buy it, it’s better to quit it ASAP.

I liked the slot, I haven’t finished it in the bonus game yet, so there’s a goal and I’m sure I’ll manage it – the main thing is to get a good result after finishing it 🙂 I don’t do more than 30-50 spins here.

I liked this slot. The craziest part is that literally from just the first 3 spins I hit the bonus feature when the top monkeys showed up and immediately scored x230. By the way, it’s not guaranteed, but if you get a lot of coins at the start, the slot can easily turn 80 starting coins into x30.
