A colorful slot with a mad scientist experiment theme. The mechanic here is unusual, called RotoGrid – I liked it; it often pays out on a spin, thanks to vials that drop with a random multiplier (sometimes very high), which break when the reels spin and, spreading across the reel, act as wilds. There are 3 types of vials: one is just a wild, one has multipliers, and one multiplies the multiplier – so the gameplay is built around these vials and the rotating playfield, although in the top one the vials are already cubes, but the idea is the same. In the bonus rounds this mechanic is used to the fullest, and basically this is a one-spin slot where one spin can do nothing, and the last spin can give a big hit – or take everything away, like with the top bonus, since the total win changes with every spin, and mostly not in the player’s favor. I’ve hit a lot of bonuses in this slot, and surprisingly the most interesting stuff I caught was in the regular bonus without an extra chance; the top one kept paying out only at the last moment. All wins in this slot are up to x thousand, but there were quite a few of them, in the range of x500-900. I regularly play this game and wait/hope for when the top one will finally give me a big hit.

I liked this game right away, a very beautiful slot, weird mechanics (at first). The first few times it’s totally unclear what and how plays in the top bonus. Everything spins and twirls, some cubes with x’s. By the way, the top bonus likes to tickle your nerves. The cubes can show x1000 and at the last moment a “spinner” can appear and flip the cube from x1000 to x10.
The regular one is simpler, you just catch flasks (wilds) with the “spinner” preferably 3-4 times and then those flasks become wilds across the whole field.
This slot is one of my favorites, I’ve hit big wins in it many times both in the regular and in the top bonus for several thousand x. The biggest win was x2500 in the top bonus, which I caught just with spins without an extra bet. I always spin Hacksaw slots without the extra bet. I’ve already been convinced many times that if the slot wants to, it’ll give the bonus even without it.

There are slots that warn epileptics about flashing, the faint-hearted about violent content, so why don’t they warn people with weak vestibular systems? Seriously, everything spins and whirls way too often and too fast in this slot – probably the only downside.

But the slot’s mechanics deserve a dissertation. There are three types of flasks in the slot: some with Xs, some without, and others with multipliers. The Xs and multipliers go up to x1000 and x10, depending on the color of the flask.

There’s a symbol that flips the screen, and when it flips wilds pour out of the flasks; if wilds from several flasks mix, the Xs mix too.

In the regular bonus the mechanic stays the same, but the drop rate increases.

The top-tier bonus is a bizarre nightmare: boxes with Xs drop and everything keeps spinning, the final multiplier changes. My whole bonus had an x1000+ multiplier stuck the whole time, and in the last spin it turned into x100+, I was devastated.

Hard to find a more more crazy slot – definitely recommend.

Twisted Lab RotoGrid is probably one of the few slots from this provider that I didn’t really like. The slot is poorly drawn, because when some symbols appear you think they paid, but it turns out they’re different. The game mechanics themselves are also very boring – there are many features but little use from them, since due to the slot’s high volatility and low RTP the wins from features are small. The Bonushunt Featurespins x3 bet feature to increase the chance of a bonus in practice doesn’t give more bonus games. The Rotogrid and Oozing Rotogrid features (x50 and x75 bet) differ only by one extra symbol, Purple Oozing, which drops rarely; it’s also important to get a large number of reel spins thanks to the Rotogrid symbol.

The slot has two different types of bonuses: the simple Unleash the Ooze and the super-bonus The Twist of the Twisted (bonus buy for x100 and x200 bet). Because of the mechanics it’s very hard to figure out how symbols should land to get a win – in the simple bonus it’s important that the reel-spin symbols drop, but they drop very rarely. In the super bonus you get 3 chances during which multiplier symbols must appear to continue the bonus, as well as Rotogrid reel-spin symbols, and it’s unclear how it takes those multipliers at the end of the bonus. I can’t even imagine how you could win the max payout claimed by the provider of x15000 in this slot.

Twisted Lab RotoGrid actually has no real potential! Well, it does – but it’s barely revealed.

Vials fall that act as wilds and liquid pours and all that counts as wild – yes, the bonus is of course much more interesting because it constantly flips the reel and then the vials spread wilds along the line! but if they’re without multipliers the payouts are very small and even with multipliers there’s no *wow* effect most of the time.

The second bonus is top, a bit more interesting of course – squares fall and there’s multiplication and it constantly flips the reel, the problem is that even if the arrow is at x1000 multiplier, if the slot flips the reel then the x1000 will move to a smaller multiplier and you’ll just get 3 spins and that’s it! I’ve seen this happen many times when a good setup ended in a pathetic outcome.

What can I say – how to catch the max win here is unknown, in the 1st bonus there’s basically nothing to see for sure… in the 2nd bonus there are constant teases with the flips, yeah it’s the more promising bonus but it also often gives at best x100! My session in the slot was awful, I didn’t see more than x200, which is little for this provider.

Probably my favorite slot from provider Hacksaw Gaming!)) Saved me many times, paid out big many times, but it’s as much of a scam as all the other slots – it can just eat your balance without decent bonuses on the x-multiplier. If you spin it without the chance, sometimes the bonuses give more than with the extra chance on) And sometimes it’s like this: you turn on the extra chance from the start and bonuses just pour in consecutively, but the big hit usually comes on the 4th-6th bonus. I also bought the features that can give a good multiplier on any spin, like a standard bonus, only sometimes they can give more than even the top bonus. I hit a max win here, true, on bonus funds, but it felt so good – and I got it from a bought bonus; I bought consecutive bonuses and I think on the 5th this big max win hit. Never had that again, and on my own money I only hit x2000 and that was it 🙁 The slot is really cool, one spin can give a decent win – if two or three flasks land on the first reels with a good x-multiplier you’ll be surprised what this slot can do! Once all the flasks fell on every reel and the special Rotorgride symbol dropped and gave 3 respins from the very first spin – a max win happened, it was so unexpected that I melted on the spot and felt like I was dreaming, but no( It’s a pity it was bonus funds with a capped max withdrawal, but at least I saw my first max win from this provider! Because of this slot I fell in love with Hacksaw, they make solid max wins in their slots, now it’s much more promising to spin their slots!
